Laura Heim was pleased to join a panel discussion held at Pratt institute: Passion, Practice, Purpose: How Architects Shape Meaningful Careers, sponsored by the AIA Brooklyn Women in Architecture (WIA) Committee. This panel featured architects who have achieved the profession’s highest honor — elevation to the AIA College of Fellows (FAIA) — sharing personal stories, pivotal projects, and unique journeys through practice. Currently serving as the AIANY Regional Representative the the College of Fellows nationally, she began the evening with an overview of the fellowship process and its rewards. The Q & A was lively and engaging.
