Having completed programming and schematic design for the United Sherpa Association’s proposed new Cultural Center in 2016, Heim Architect is currently collaborating with the esteemed structural engineering firm, Silman, as part of their Building Equity Initiative (BEI) which provides pro-bono or low-bono professional engineering services to support the efforts of non-profits and public programs. Together, we have created a feasibility study to review options for completing the excavation of the cellar to create a community room while evaluating the impact on the proposed upper floors and existing building.
